Hi, I’m Rachel.
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a wife, a mama, and a follower of Jesus who has learned that some of life’s holiest moments happen in the most ordinary places.
My journey with Christ began as a little girl sitting at home with my dad. One day, he shared the good news of the gospel with me and read John 3:16. As he explained God’s love shown through Jesus Christ, I asked if I could pray with him to receive Jesus as my Savior.
That simple conversation changed my life forever.
Looking back now, I think it’s beautiful that my relationship with Jesus began at home, because years later it would be at home that He would continue teaching me what it means to trust Him.
How it all started
The Story Behind Heaven Meets Home
In 2025, our family entered one of the most challenging seasons of our lives.
Just after learning we were expecting our second daughter, my husband left for Air Force Basic Military Training in San Antonio, Texas.
Like many military families, we stepped into a season marked by uncertainty, waiting, and sacrifice.
I spent much of my pregnancy preparing to welcome our daughter while my husband was away. Through it all, God faithfully cared for our family. My parents, my brother and sister-in-law, and our church family became tangible expressions of Christ’s love, reminding me that God often provides through the people He places around us.
In March 2026, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world.
Although that season was filled with joy, it was also physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding. After my husband returned home, life remained challenging as we adjusted to caring for two young children while recovering from a year that had stretched our family in many ways.
It was during that season that God gently revealed how much I needed Him—not only in life’s biggest moments, but in every ordinary day.

Learning to Recognize God’s Presence
As I look back on that season, I can see God’s faithfulness everywhere.
Through Scripture.Through prayer.Through the love of family and friends.Through the encouragement of our local church.
And through several deeply personal experiences that strengthened my faith and reminded me of His nearness.
I recognize that Christians describe and understand experiences like these in different ways. I simply share them as part of my own story because they reminded me that God’s promises are true and that Christ is faithful to His people.
More than any single experience, what transformed me was the growing realization that Jesus is Emmanuel—God with us.
Not only in seasons of celebration.Not only within the walls of a church.But in kitchens. Nurseries. Living rooms. Hospital rooms. Military deployments. Times of grief. Quiet mornings. Long nights. And ordinary Tuesdays.
Why Heaven Meets Home exists
Those months forever changed the way I see God.
Before that season, I knew the truth that Jesus loved me. Through that season, I came to trust more deeply that He is faithful, present, and sufficient in every circumstance.
That’s where Heaven Meets Home was born.
This ministry exists to encourage women to seek Jesus in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life and to discover that no season is beyond His presence or care.
Not because life is always easy. Not because our homes are perfect. But because Christ has promised to be with His people, and His presence brings hope in every season.
